 Open Door United Church of Christ in Murphys has an opening for a Christian Education/Youth Ministry Director. Responsibilities will include development and oversight of the Sunday school curriculum, recruiting, and providing training and support for Sunday school volunteers, coordinating coverage for nursery care, attend monthly meetings for the Christian Education Committee and for staff, coordinate and facilitate Vacation Bible School, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications include experience with children and with Christian education and youth ministry, an understanding of development of children, strong verbal and communication skills, and the ability to recruit, coordinate training, and supervise volunteers. A bachelors degree is preferred, and seminary education is a plus. Hourly pay of $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience, and 6-10 hours per week. Please send your resume to:
