Rev. Dr. Bonnie Hollinger was installed on June 2, 2013 as the pastor of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Murphys California. 

Parishioners describe Pastor Bonnie as enthusiastic, energetic and a deep love for God and others.  “She is deeply compassionate and spends time caring for individuals in the church as well as our community.”  She was ordained by the Lancaster Association of the United Church of Christ in 2006 and was the previous Senior Pastor of St. Peter’s UCC in Lancaster PA 17603. 

Pastor Bonnie graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in 2000 with a BS in Business.  She received her Master of Divinity from Lancaster Theological Seminary – May 2006 and received her doctorate at Drew University in the areas of Worship, Preaching and Spirituality.

She is married to Dr. Daryl Hollinger, who is the Director of Music at the church and they live in Arnold.  They have five adult children and seven grandchildren. Bonnie is an avid reader and delightful storyteller.  She has led worship retreats and is an entertaining public speaker. 

Dr. Daryl Hollinger is the Choral Director of the Columbia College Community Chorus and teaches music courses as an adjunct professor. He is a well-known published composer, organist, author, and workshop leader. He is a talented musician who performs on many instruments, but his love of church music gives joy to many as he brings diverse styles of music to worship.
